VoiceVibes, Center for Creative Leadership, and Other Researchers to Present Symposium on Leadership and Voice
Baltimore, Maryland…March 22, 2018…VoiceVibes, Inc., a technology company whose speech analysis software improves the public speaking ability of its users, announced today that Founder and CEO, Debra Bond Cancro, will be a featured participant in a symposium at the 2018 Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) Annual Conference. The I-O science and practice conference, taking place April 19-21 at the Sheraton Grand Chicago, will host informative talks, networking opportunities, and professional development sessions.
The Symposium, entitled, “Playing Outside the Sandbox: Leadership Development Insights From Other Fields,” offers attendees examples of how innovative approaches from other fields can be incorporated into leadership development, including: voice analytics, such as VoiceVibes, clinical transdiagnostic perspectives, sleep science, and real-time physiological assessments. Leadership development to date has largely focused on behavioral competencies, however, behaviors are only a part of what it means to be a leader.
